About Flute Lessons
I have an extensive background in flute and have studied with some of the most outstanding flute players of the 20th and 21st centuries, including Julius Baker, Bonita Boyd, Keith Underwood and James Walker. Flute lessons are taught in the finest established traditions of instruction. With beginners, we will focus on laying a foundation of solid technique and musical understanding. With more experienced students, we will refine existing skills and work to create freedom in musical expression.
I believe that everyone, without exception, is musical. My goal as a music teacher is to allow each student to find the means to express themselves musically in a rewarding and fulfilling way by teaching musical proficiency and allowing students the freedom to create.
