About our Director Childlight Music is lovingly guided by Jackie Weiland, a licensed Kindermusik educator who has over 20 years experience in music education and performance. She holds a Master’s degree from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky in Vocal Performance as well as Level One certification as an Orff-Schulwerk Instructor. She is a member of American Orff-Schulwerk Association, Music Teachers National Association, and Kindermusik Educators Associaton. Jackie has served churches in Bartholomew and Shelby County as a church musician and as director of music, including instituting programs for children’s music. She has also offered private lessons in voice and piano, providing her students with high quality instruction in a nurturing, process oriented atmosphere. Jackie brings her love of music and young children together through classes offered at Childlight Music. Jackie established Childlight Music because of her desire to provide a studio that offers high quality musical experiences for children to enjoy with their families. Her goal is to create an environment that provides a foundation for future learning in all areas of development while fostering a life long love of music making in families throughout the Columbus area. |
